Getting the Right Fit for Lasting Comfort
A great contact lens experience starts with a precise fit. At Dr. Zargar Eyecare, we use modern tools like corneal topography and keratometry to map your eye shape and ensure your lenses align with your vision needs.
Each fitting includes hands-on training, trial lenses, and follow-up visits until we’ve finalized your prescription and lens type. Our goal is to make your lenses feel natural, comfortable, and easy to manage.

What Happens During a Contact Lens Exam?
Every set of eyes is unique, which is why we take the time to understand yours. During your contact lens exam at Dr. Zargar Eyecare, we evaluate more than just your prescription.
We assess your corneal shape, tear film quality, eye health, and lifestyle needs to determine the best lens type for you. Once we’ve gathered the right information, we’ll walk you through your lens options and start your trial period with sample lenses so you can test out the comfort and clarity before making a final decision.
We begin with a thorough eye exam to assess your overall eye health, current vision prescription, and any specific needs. If you’re already wearing contact lenses, we’ll review your current brand and fit to see if there’s a better option available.
Using our in-house corneal topographer, we map the shape of your cornea and take detailed measurements of your pupils and tear film. This helps us select lenses that fit your eyes properly, which is important if you have astigmatism or irregular corneas.
Each fitting includes a 1-on-1 training session with a member of our team, who will teach you how to insert, remove, and care for your lenses. You’ll leave with a 2-week supply of trial lenses to test out at home. All follow-up visits are included until we finalize the best brand and prescription for you.

Our Contact Lens Options
Not all eyes are the same, and some require extra care when it comes to vision correction. At Dr. Zargar Eyecare, we offer a wide range of specialty contact lenses designed for patients with unique eye conditions or hard-to-fit eyes.
Whether you have astigmatism, dry eye, keratoconus, or an irregular cornea, our specialty lenses can provide the comfort, clarity, and stability that standard lenses often can’t.
Toric lenses are shaped to correct both the vertical and horizontal refractions in people with astigmatism. These contact lenses stop objects from looking blurred, tilted or stretched. Weighted to keep them from rotating and moving, toric lenses need to be specially fitted by your Optometrist.
Multifocal contact lenses correct vision deficiencies without causing strain in other areas by combining the power of distance and near prescriptions into one lens.
For those with keratoconus or irregular corneas, hybrid lenses combine the comfort of soft lenses with the refractive power of rigid gas permeable (RGP) lenses. The outer portion is flexible yet comfortable, while the inner portion is rigid, creating a sharper image.
Aspheric lenses vary in curvature, creating a more specific focal point on the back of the eye. This enhances the quality of vision and increases the depth of focus for patients with myopia.
Scleral contact lenses are larger in diameter than traditional contact lenses. Instead of on the iris, scleral contacts rest on the sclera (whites) of your eyes, allowing them to “vault” over the cornea. These lenses can be a great option for those with corneal issues like keratoconus.
Orthokeratology, or ortho-k, contact lenses are specialty contacts designed to help manage myopia development. Ortho-k lenses work by gently reshaping your cornea while you sleep, helping you achieve clear, crisp vision without the aid of glasses or contact lenses throughout the day.
MiSight contact lenses are specialty contact lenses that help manage myopia in children. By using a refractive technique called peripheral defocus, light is focused just in front of your child’s retina, which prevents the eye from getting longer as they get older, greatly reducing how fast myopia develops.
Maximizing Your Vision
We’re here to help you find contact lenses that feel great and fit your lifestyle. Whether you’re new to contacts or looking to upgrade your current lenses, our experienced team will guide you every step of the way from the first exam to your final prescription.
Some of the conditions we frequently address with specialty lenses include:
- Astigmatism (requiring toric lenses for stable, clear vision)
- Dry eye syndrome (where scleral lenses can offer relief by creating a fluid reservoir over the eye)
- Keratoconus and corneal irregularities (which benefit from hybrid or RGP lenses)
- Presbyopia or multifocal needs (addressed with multifocal or aspheric lenses)
Book your contact lens exam today and explore the latest technology designed to fit your lifestyle. We also provide contact lens trials so you can experience the comfort and clarity before ordering through our convenient online portal.
