Dr. Zargar received her undergraduate degree from the University of Waterloo in 2002 and then went on to earn her Doctor of Optometry from Indiana University in 2006. Upon graduation, Dr. Zargar trained at a variety of medical centres in West Virginia and Indiana, as well as at the Vision Institute of Canada. She also completed a number of continuing education courses where she focused on expanding her knowledge in myopia control, dry eye disease, and pediatric optometry.
Dr. Zargar is a proud member of the College of Optometrists of Ontario, the Ontario Association of Optometrists, and has served as president on the board of the Vision Institute of Canada. She has also volunteered as an assessor for Canadian Examiners in Optometry.
Dr. Zargar is continuously working on advancing her education and investing in progressive technologies to offer her patients the very best care. Dr. Zargar also offers advanced therapies tailored to each patient’s unique dry eye needs. Using diagnostic tools and treatment options, she effectively manages and treats chronic dry eye, providing relief and improving the quality of life for those affected by the condition.
Dr. Zargar doesn’t stop there—she also provides orthokeratology, commonly known as ortho-k. Ortho-k involves wearing specially designed contact lenses overnight to gently reshape the cornea and help provide clear vision during the day without the need for glasses or contacts.
Through her well-rounded education and passion for the ever-changing field of optometry, Dr. Zargar has the expertise and knowledge to deliver high-quality, personalised eye care to every one of her patients. Dr. Zargar is fluent in Farsi, French, and English. She is currently accepting new patients and is pleased to offer full-scope optometric eye care to patients of all ages.
Dr. Su earned her degree in Optometry from the New England College of Optometry in Boston and later pursued a one-year advanced fellowship in cornea and specialty contact lenses at the Cornea and Laser Eye Institute Center for Keratoconus in Teaneck, NJ. She has extensive knowledge and training on fitting specialty contact lenses of all types, specifically for the management of keratoconus, post-refractive surgical complications, and ocular surface disease. She also has a special interest in myopia management with the use of orthokeratology and soft multifocal contact lenses.
Dr. Su was recognized with several honors, including the Oculus Anterior Segment Scholarship, the GPLI Gas Permeable Clinical Excellence Award, and the Case Report Challenge from the American Academy of Optometry, Section on Cornea, Contact Lenses and Refractive Technologies. Furthermore, she was awarded the Beta Sigma Kappa Research Grant for her work on evaluating the choroidal and retinal thickness of children undergoing myopia control treatment.
Dr. Su has contributed to several publications such as Eye & Contact Lens, Contact Lens Spectrum, Review of Optometry, and Review of Cornea and Contact Lenses. She is a Fellow of the American Academy of Optometry and working towards her fellowship towards the Scleral Lens Education Society. She is a member of the Ontario College of Optometrists and is licensed to practice Optometry in Ontario, New York, and New Jersey. She is excited to return home to Ontario to provide care to patients of all ages. In her spare time, Dr. Su enjoys pottery and exploring the vibrant food cultures of the various cities she visits.
Dr. Oh completed her Bachelor of Science in Nursing at Toronto Metropolitan University and later earned her Doctor of Optometry degree from Illinois College of Optometry (ICO), graduating with Cum Laude and Dean’s honor list.
She received extensive training in ocular disease at Veterans Affair outpatient clinic in Indiana, where she developed extensive skills in treating and managing glaucoma, diabetic and hypertensive retinopathy, and age-related macular degeneration. She also observed cataract surgeries and managed pre- and post-operative care. During her externship site at Illinois Eye Institute, Dr. Oh, took special interest in dry eye management and myopia control. There she developed knowledge to treat chronic dry eyes using latest diagnostic and therapeutic technology and fit soft contact multifocal and orthokeratology lenses to manage myopia. Passionate about giving back to the community, Dr. Oh, has participated in mission trips and vision screening in Chicago and Peru.
Dr. Oh, is an active member of College of Optometrist of Ontario. She is fluent in English and Korean. In her spare time, she enjoys traveling, going to Pilates and exploring new cafes in the city.
Dr. Adam Alpert earned his Doctor of Optometry Degree from the Illinois College of Optometry in Chicago. After completing rotations in Atlanta, Chicago, Ottawa, and Pittsburgh, Dr. Alpert was named to the Clinical Dean’s List for high achievement and excellence in patient care. During his clinical experiences, he was exposed to a diverse patient base, where he gained extensive training in ocular disease, pediatrics, myopia management, dry eye management, and specialty contact lenses. While in optometry school, Dr. Alpert was an executive member of the Cornea and Contact Lens Society, as well as the Canadian Association of Optometric Students.
After graduating, Dr. Alpert worked in Atlanta, where he treated patients of all ages and backgrounds, focusing on providing quality, patient-centered care. He is thrilled to return to his hometown of Toronto and the GTA, where he continues to provide the same high standard of patient care.
Dr. Alpert is a member of the College of Optometrists of Ontario, the Ontario Association of Optometrists (OAO), and the Canadian Association of Optometrists (CAO).
In his free time, Dr. Alpert enjoys spending time with his family and friends. He enjoys biking, going on hikes, and catching up on the latest movies or TV shows.
